About Santa Hire Scotland
Bringing Christmas magic to families, businesses and communities across Scotland
Santa Hire Scotland provides experienced professional Santas and Elves for Christmas events across Central Scotland and beyond.
The business was founded by a professional entertainer who has worked full-time in the entertainment industry since 1997. His own Santa experience began with busy shopping-centre work, performing as Santa throughout the Christmas season, and has since grown to include hundreds of different Christmas events and visits.
Over the years, Santa has appeared at hotels, restaurants, schools, nurseries, businesses, offices, community events, Christmas parties, family celebrations and private homes — from traditional Santa visits to some much more unusual requests!
From One Santa to a Team
As demand for our Santa visits has grown, so has Santa Hire Scotland.
Today we have a team of experienced Santas and Elves, allowing us to provide Christmas visits for many different types of events and locations.
Every booking is different. Some customers simply want Santa to arrive, meet the children and hand out presents. Others want Santa to entertain an entire room, pose for photographs, meet hundreds of guests or become part of a larger Christmas event.
We work with you to make the visit suit your event, rather than trying to make every event fit the same Santa package.
Professional, Experienced & Reliable
When you're booking someone to portray Father Christmas, particularly around children, professionalism matters.
Our service is built around experienced performers who understand that being Santa is about much more than putting on a red suit. It's about creating a believable character, interacting naturally with children and adults, thinking on your feet and making every visit feel special.

Christmas Entertainment — Not Just Santa Visits
We can provide much more than the traditional Santa appearance.
Depending on your event, you can ask about Santa & Elf visits, Singing Santa, Christmas entertainment, present giving, photographs, audience interaction and larger Christmas events.
From a surprise family visit to a busy corporate Christmas party, we'll help you create the right experience.
Book Early — But Don't Assume We're Full!
Some customers book their Santa as early as February, with bookings increasing throughout the summer and autumn.
December weekends are particularly popular, but with a team of Santas available we may still be able to help — and we especially welcome enquiries for November events and December weekday visits.

Thank you for all your support with santa for last Saturday, the day was a huge success!
Twins only, Santa day,
Bob was the perfect Santa for our party, he was so professional and his costume was brilliant, he looked just the part! The children all loved him and had a great time. Thanks for making our party special!
Thanks,

I cannot recommend Bob Santa enough. I booked him for an adult only office party. It was risky as I was unsure if they would enjoy it, but once Santa came into the room, they all turned into children again and the delight on their faces was worth it. The outfit and look of Santa were perfect.
Santa helped with the reveal and the exist on the night to ensure that it was pitched just right, and he left on a high. I would highly recommend you book this Santa for any event you may have in the future.
"We couldn't have asked for a better Santa! he was so patient, kind and interactive with each of our families that visited the grotto. Each one leaving had a magical experience. I have no hesitation in recommending booking this Santa!" lauren, Robert Burns Visitor Centre, Alloway.

“The Park Hotel, Kilmarnock have used Bob for Santa at various events including Christmas Day and Lunch with Santa for families. Bob is very professional, friendly and great with the kids. Bob turns up before his scheduled time so he can be briefed with what he has to do, and his appearance can only be described as immaculate. We’ve used various Santa’s over the years, but Bob is the closet thing to the real Santa we’ve found, always very happy with his performance”.
